The Quaker Asylum and Refugee Network (QARN) will be holding their AGM in Sheffield at the Meeting House, top floor, on Saturday 13th April.  The morning session, 10-12.30, will be a business meeting.  If you are interested to learn more about QARN please do attend.  From 2-5 we will be hosting an open event at which QARN members and others will have the opportunity to talk about the work they do to support and defend asylum seekers and refugees.  We have programmed a number of “Open Witness” slots where anyone can speak from their own experiences.  This is a good opportunity to hear about the work QARN members do and for QARN to learn about the good work done in Sheffield by Quakers and others alike.  Lunch will be provided from 12.30 and a collection for ASSIST will be made on the day.
